 Lava Clan 
Characteristics : Vigorously, heatedly, touchy, pugnacious

Located on an island made out of lava and still active volcanoes you can find the Lava Clan. There is a big struggle between the Water and the Lava Clan going on for generations now. At first the island was pure stone wasteland and the Water Clan lived on the island but times changed dramatically for the Water Clan. Volcanoes arised and soon lava was flooding the island. The Water Clan was quite worried about their home, because the volcanoes stayed active and slowly the heat turned the whole island into a volcanoe and the stone became reddish. Some Løki felt attracted towards the hot lava and the now changed area and they decided to stay on the island while the rest of the clan decided to leave. The Clan split itself and from time to time there emerged a struggle over territory between the two clans. Customs and the characteristics changed and somehow the former members of the once peaceful Water Clan were not the same as before. The volcanoe island changed them and their characters became like the volcanoes - hot heatedly and vigorously. The Water Clan had to search for another home and since the splitting they now reside on the main islands bays. That is the story how the Lava Clan was born. The ally of the Lava Clan is the Mountain Clan, because both clans share a deep love for rocks and stone. Both have customs that are deeply connected with the ground they live on. Lava Clan members are living usually in volcanoes near the hot magma. The heat does not effect them at all and some customs can only be done in the lava itself so a bath in the hot fluid is not uncommon for Lava Løki. You will never find a member of the Lava Clan near the Ice Clan - it is just way too cold for them there. Without heat the Lava Løki cannot survive.



 Desert Clan 
Characteristics : Hard boiled, strong, moody, persistent, persevering, restless

The Desert Clan can be found in the biggest desert part of Løki world. The Desert Clan has the biggest territory except for the Sky and Water Clan but you cannot really compare that. Most members live on the biggest island which is connected with the Forest Clan. Another big group of members can be found on the second biggest island. But of course you can find members in the whole territory. The clan may have the biggest territory of them all but since it is pure desert with water surrounding it, it is not always easy for the clan members - the beaches are perfectly fine but the members do are attached to the hot and dry sand of the desert. After hundreds of years the Løki of the Desert Clan became very hard boiled and tough when it came to surviving. Like the dry desert sand can make them be moody and a bit rough sometimes. But that also makes them a great ally. The desert clan Løkis enjoy living in the desert and taking quite the hot sand baths and loves to sleep covered completely in sand. Ironically the desert is always surrounded by water or a forest as you can see on the  main island - the Water Clan is their ally. They live close to each other and Desert Løki do need it in since in the desert you rarely find such, they always had a good connection to each other when it came to trading, alliances or anything else. Even if they can be moody they are quite friendly and trustworthy. Løkifish of the Desert Clan can only live on the coast where the bays are. Desert Clan Løki love to bathe but they still prefer to live in the desert.



Water Clan 
Characteristics : Silent, contemplative, calm, wise, balanced

On the main islands bays you can find the Water Clan. There is a big struggle between the Water and the Lava Clan going on for generations now. The Water Clan had to search for a new home for a really long time, because most of the other areas were already owned by other clans and because of the long search for a new home the members became more and more connected with the water which made living on an island impossible. And living in the ocean completely was not possible as well, because the race still needed and needs a bit of land as well. So they decided to live in bays. That is how Løkifish evolved and Løkidragons are now able to live in water as well. The other clans call a Løkidragon living most of the time in the ocean "Seadragon". Clan members eat sea food only. There is a deep connection with the Desert Clan but not all of the reasons are clear yet. They live closely together and share a great friendship including rituals and trading.



Darkness Clan 
Characteristics : Shy, Silent, Introverted, Mysterious

The Darkness Clan is located in the caves of the mountains, where you can find the Mountain clan as well. If you step out of the caves you are directly stepping into the territory of the Forest Clan. So even if you have to go deep into the mountains to find the Darkness Clan - the other two clans still are not far away. The Darkness Clan is still not easy to find, because a cave where Darkness members live is usually quite maze-like. Because of that, the Darkness Clan is very isolated and does not want much company. Members are happy with themselves and they do not even need their clan to be happy together sometimes. Even if the whole species is connected towards magic - the members of the Darkness Clan have the strongest connection off all the Løki when its about  magic. It is not wise to start a fight with the clan. They never start a fight and even if suggested they deny any alliance with another clan. The members are quite shy sometimes and have a silent character mostly. Many rituals are practiced in the clan circle and bathing in the magical ponds inside the caves somehow give them stronger magical powers than usual. The pond water is also holy to them and the species in general but only Darkness Clan members know the correct rituals for the magical pond water. Løkis from other clans comes to Darkness Clan members to seek mysterious information about the future or if injured for example. The water is very special and can be dangerous if you use it not correctly. Members of this clan can be found outside as well sometimes but only at night or when you can see the full moon.



 Sky Clan 
Characteristics : Playful, cheerful, curious, dreamy

The Sky Clan you can find in the big group out of clouds near the big main island. Sometimes when the clouds sorround the mountains you can find Sky Løki there as well. The Forest Clan has a deep connection with the Sky Clan since Forest Clan members love the wide sky and Sky Clan members love to play with Forest Løki. The Ice Clan is an ally as well, because only the Sky Clan members can reach the Ice area without a problem. The Water Clan can do it as well but they do not do it often. Sky Clan Løki love to play and fly around in the sky. Only Løkidragons can be a part of the Sky Clan logically. Løkidragons of the Sky Clan sleep in the clouds and they are the lords of the sky - well that is what the other Løki Clans use to call the members of the Sky Clan. The reason a star is the symbol of the Sky Clan is that it is said once a Løkidragon reached the stars and then stayed in the sky forever, because he loved it so much he became one with the sky.



Forest Clan 
Characteristics : Enthusiastic, friendly, open minded, happy, calm

Located on the big main island the Forest Clan can be found. Connected with the Water Clan, Desert Clan and directly with the Darkness and Mountain Clan, the Forest Clan lives in harmony with all of them. But their biggest and only ally is the Sky Clan. Løki of the Forest Clan love to sit in trees and stare upon the wide sky and gaze upon the stars. In the night, sorrounded by the many trees it is quite amazing to stare into the sky with all the amaing stars. Of course some members - the Løkidragns - can fly but not every Løki can. Løki share some deep connections with nature and especially the Forest Clan is deeply connected with the nature in the forest with its many pants and animals. They make great healers as the Darkness Clan but they work with oinments and special healing herbs. You can find its members deep in the forest and in the night some are active and some sleep. Usually they sleep in hollow trees or otherwise hidden but never visisble for attackers. They hunt or eat the bugs living in the forest. Forest Clan members are playful and love to play with eachother - no matter how old they are. Their memory is like the big old trees itself - wise and their aura and mind is very calm.



Ice Clan 
Characteristics : Quiet, reserved, smart, tactful, determined

Ice clan, The quiet reserved Ice dwelling Loki's. Smart, Tactful and determined. Great leaders have been found here. Once in a blue moon you can find the leaders venturing to a secure location for a meeting of leaders. Maintaining their Alliances with the Sky Clan, And Mountain Clan is of vast importance. This is also part of the coming of age trials of the younger successors of the clans. 



Mountain Clan 
Characteristics : Strong, trustworthy, robust, calm, friendly, snazzy

The Mountain Clan is located high in the mountains and in rocky areas only. The members have a strong character and usually are strong as well. They have to be very fit to live so high up in the mountains, because of the thin air. High up in the air they sometimes meet Løki from the Sky Clan and then they play together. Løki from the Mountain Clan love it to sharpen their claws on the rough stone walls and in general they use to sratch symbols and runes into the walls. They sleep in cliffs and other crevices. The Lava Clan is their  ally, because the rock bound them. Both clans love the  robust ressource and live with it in harmony. Volcanoes are earth, too even if they spit magma. The  clans share some rituals with each other and they have a very strong connection with each other.
