So, where do I start... first of all, the originality, I gave you only 1 Star, because drawings of this photo are as rare as cats.
You have quite a few disproportions here: The eyes are way to big. The Iris should be round, take more care about this parts, they are the center of the image. And you should pay attention on the position of the iris - in the reference photo the character looks a little bit more right than yours.
His brows are supposed to be more straight, and less "fluffy". The forehead should be bigger (I would say about 1.5x times).
The Jaw is way to slim. The nose should be a little bit higher. Pay attention on the line between the eyes (don`t know how it calls on englisch), in the reference it is higher.
So, now a few words about the technique: If you use such dark tones, you should try to create some better contrast. This actually (for me) looks like you did adjust the contrast with photoshop. and way to much. This creates this Dirt-feeling. Like his skin is dirty, not having shadows... Also, you have to force the attention of the viewer on the highlights of the face, but the whole empty (and with this adjustments) extremely white area in the background destroys the focal point. You can change this, by making it slightly darker, draw blurry backgrounds, or make them monochrome.
